As part of the esteemed University President’s Cup for five-a-side football, which was held under the patronage of the esteemed President of the University of Kerbala, Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, and supervised by the Student Activities Department at the University Presidency.
The team from the College of Education for the Humanities defeated the team from the College of General Medicine with a score of 8 goals to 2. The goals were scored by: student Salah Al-Din with 5 goals, and student Ayman Hamid with 3 goals, setting up a match against the College of Pure Sciences in the semi-finals on Sunday, February 23, 2025.
It is worth mentioning that the student Salah al-Din Sabah is the top scorer of the championship with 13 goals in two matches.
For its part, the Deanship of the College of Education for the Humanities , represented by the esteemed Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hadi Al-Saeedi, appreciates the efforts of the college team and the Sports Activities Unit, represented by the unit’s supervisor, Professor Saif Daikh, wishing them continued success and achievement in their academic and sports endeavors.
