Mechanisms for Evaluating the Teacher Student: A Scientific Symposium at the College of Education for the Humanities

The Scientific Affairs Division, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Division, organized a scientific symposium titled “Mechanisms for Evaluating the Teacher Student.” The lecture was delivered by the faculty member in the Department of Arabic and Director of the Media and Government Communication Division at the College of Education for the Humanities, Prof. Dr. Uday Obaidan Salman Al-Jarrah, and was moderated by Prof. Dr. Karima Al-Madani, with the attendance of newly appointed faculty members and professors of the college.

The symposium aimed to highlight the significance of the practicum phase for students, outlining the evaluation criteria used by supervisors and explaining the mechanisms and regulations governing the practicum process.

The symposium covered several key topics, including an introduction to the College of Education and its importance, distinguishing it from other colleges such as Arts and Sciences. It also underscored the importance of educational and psychological courses, particularly teaching methods and teaching applications (practical training). Additionally, the symposium provided a detailed explanation of the various stages a practicum student undergoes, from receiving the practicum assignment to the completion of the training period.
