Al- Ghani Al-Asadi’s Publications
With great pride and honour, the Dean of the College of Education for the Humanities, Prof. Dr. Hadi Al-Saeedi, and the entire staff extend heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Dr. Hassan Abd Al- Ghani Al-Asadi, Professor of Arabic Language in the Department of Arabic Language, on the release of the second edition of his three significant publications:
“The Methodology of the Closed Codex” – In this work, the author aims to highlight the subtle distinction between words and the sensitivity of Qur’anic expression in conveying specific meanings through those usages. The work starts by focusing on the words of the Qur’an as the core semantic units upon which the understanding of the Qur’an is based.
“The Arabic Origins of Imam al-Nahu Sibawayh” – An exploration into the history of Sibawayh’s works, where the author delves into the texts and their formulation, besides that it involves investigating the origins and lineage of Sibawayh.
“The Concept of Sentences According to Sibawayh” – In this book, the author presents new readings of the most prominent work in Arabic grammar, offering fresh perspectives on Sibawayh’s contributions.
