1. A MASTER’S THESIS IN THE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION FOR THE HUMANITIES DISCUSSES THE GRAMMATICAL CRITICISM OF THE BOOK “THE PIERCING STAR”

The master’s thesis entitled “Grammatical Criticism of Al-Mahdi Salah bin Ali (d. 842 AH)” was discussed in the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education for the Humanities at the University of Kerbala, by the student Rasool Adnan Sharif and supervised by Prof. Dr. Najah Fahim Saber.

The thesis aimed to study the grammatical criticism heritage of the author of “The Piercing Star” and his era, whose words were characterized by difficulty in understanding and difficulty in style, which they represent the culture of the era at that time.

The study consisted of three chapters, the first chapter included the definition of criticism and the relationship of grammar to other similar topics, and the most prominent standards adopted in the criticism of grammarians, while the second chapter came in the criticism of Salah bin Ali in verbs, finally, the third chapter included his criticism in letters.
