One of the Staff members  from the Arabic  Department is giving a lecture at a seminar on the effectiveness of the Arabic language in media guidance

Dr. Salam Salman Al-Rubaie, a faculty member in the Arabic  Department at the College of Education for Humanities, presented at the scientific symposium titled “The Effectiveness of the Arabic Language in Guiding Media: Between Influence and Responsibility,” which was organized by the Women’s Affairs Division at the University of Kerbala and held in the Al-Khwarizmi Hall at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, attended by several professors, researchers, and students. The seminar aimed to enhance the role of Arabic in the contemporary media landscape.

The seminar included several key topics, most notably: the importance of Arabic in digital media, the ethical responsibility of journalists in using Arabic in a manner that reflects correct cultural and intellectual values, as well as the impact of language on shaping public opinion and how to use it as an effective tool in conveying information clearly and accurately, away from misinformation or distortion.

It is worth mentioning that the seminar witnessed interventions from professors specialized in media and the Arabic language, in addition to discussions with attendees who raised their questions about the future of the Arabic language in light of modern technological developments, and ways to preserve its authenticity in various media.
