The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education for the Humanities at the University of Kerbala held a scientific course entitled “The Applied Learning and its Role in the Counseling Process During Application.” Lecturers included: Asst. Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdullah Abbas, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Hamza Hadi, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Tufayli. The course targeted students of the mentioned department.
The course aimed to highlight the importance of counseling in practical education and to clarify the tasks assigned to the applied students and their responsibilities from a counselingperspective during the application. The course included several topics, most notably: defining the concept of counseling and guidance, the roles of the teachers in school, explaining the importance of the counselor teachers, their roles, and their tasks, as well as the difference between a counselor teacher and a traditional teacher.
