As part of its ongoing efforts to educate students on the importance of providing a sustainable environment, the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences organized a scientific course entitled “The Role of Psychological Counseling in Providing a Sustainable Environment.” Presented by Asst. Ms. Nour Maki Hamid, the course targeted students in the department.
The course emphasized the role of psychological and educational counseling in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, as it addresses most of the problems related to various aspects of life and its role in finding appropriate solutions. It also highlighted the importance of counseling in solving students’ problems, understanding their transitional needs, and defining the role of the psychological counselor.
The course included a number of topics related to individual mental health, which were discussed scientifically. The course concluded with a discussion of the importance of continuous communication with counselors to find appropriate solutions to the problems they face in their educational and academic careers.
