The Dean of the College of Education for the Humanities at the University of Kerbala, Professor Dr. Hadi Al-Saeedi, along with his assistants for academic and administrative affairs, and a number of college professors, participated in the ceremony of honoring female students wearing the Iraqi Abaya. The ceremony was organized by the College of Law in cooperation with the Al-Abbas’s (PBUH) Holy Shrine.
The ceremony included honoring (150) female students wearing the Iraqi Abaya on the campus from the colleges of (Law, Computer Science and Information Technology, Education for Pure Sciences, and Education for the Humanities). The ceremony was attended by the University President, ProfessorDr. Sabah Wajid Ali, and a number of deans, professors, and students.
The honoring was in recognition of the students’ commitment to wearing the Iraqi Abaya on campus, their commitment to upholding high moral values, and their reflection of cultural identity and authentic societal values, which the university seeks to promote alongside its educational mission.
