The Department of Applied Geography at the College of Education for the Humanities, University of Kerbala, organized a seminar titled “Water Consumption Methods in Agricultural Production.” The session was led by Lect. Ali Kazem Jawad Al-Khuza’i(PhD), Lect.Nibras Ahmed Kazem (PhD), and Asst. Lect. Safaa Sabeih Khaza’al. Several staff members and the students of the department attended the seminar
Moreover, the seminar aimed to explore various irrigation techniques by analyzing the water requirements of crops and assessing the levels of water consumption in cultivated lands and plants.
Notably, some key topics were discussed in the seminar including defining water consumption concepts, traditional and modern irrigation methods, and the efficiency of irrigation techniques in enhancing agricultural production
