The Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education for the Humanities, University of Kerbala, organised a scientific competition titled “Expand Your Knowledge“ for second-year students. Asst. Prof. Ihsan Khudair Al-Talqani, Lect. Azhar Ali Mohammed (PhD), and Asst. Lect. Muhannad Abbas Mohammed led the competition.
The competition featured four main categories: Religious Studies, General Cultural Knowledge, Psychology, and General Scientific Information.
The event aimed to enhance students’ academic knowledge by encouraging reading, fostering ethical competition, and refining their intellectual and analytical skills. Additionally, it sought to develop their abilities in discussion and debate, enabling them to express themselves more effectively while improving critical thinking and enriching their university experience.
It is worth mentioning that the competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, and winners were honoured at the end of the event.
