The College of Education for the Humanities Organizes a Large-Scale Tree-Planting Campaign on National Afforestation Day

In a remarkable initiative, the College of Education for the Humanities at the University of Kerbalaorganized a large-scale tree-planting campaign in celebration of National Afforestation Day, under the generous patronage of Prof. Dr. Hadi Al-Saeedi, the Dean of the College.

This campaign aligns with the commitment of the college to sustainable development goals, aiming to plant a diverse range of evergreen trees, perennial plants, and seasonal seedlings, with the participation of faculty members and students.

Through this initiative, the college seeks to expand green spaces, improve the environment, and reduce pollution levels. Trees play a crucial role in increasing oxygen levels, absorbing harmful gases such as carbon dioxide, moderating climate conditions, and lowering temperatures. Additionally, they enhance the aesthetic appeal of the college, providing a refreshing and vibrant atmosphere for students and visitors alike.
