As part of its commitment to sustainable development goals, students from the Department of History at the College of Education for the Humanities, University of Kerbala, organized a panel discussion titled “The Department of History Between the Past and Present and Its Role in Achieving Justice and Peace (1996–2025).” The discussion was moderated by Prof. Dr. Falah Hassan Kzar and was attended by faculty members and students.
The lecturing student, Hamza Muhammad Amin provided a detailed presentation on the establishment of the college and the Department of History, its administrative structure, graduate statistics, and annual ratios, alongside an overview of the department’s academic progress, the introduction of postgraduate studies, and notable theses and dissertations defended over the years.
Additionally, the lecturing student, Widian HossamAhmed discussed the vision and objectives of the Department of History, aligning them with sustainable development goals in accordance with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) initiatives.
