The Department of Applied Geography at the College of Humanities Education, University of Karbala, organized an inspection visit to Dar Al-Warith for Housing, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (PBUH). The visit was led by the Head of the Department, Dr. Hani Al-Mas’oudi, and included the participation of several faculty members.
This humanitarian initiative, held in observance of the blessed month of Ramadan, included assessing the needs of orphans, distributing food baskets, and providing moral support. Additionally, the delegation met with the director of Dar Al-Warith for Housing to discuss its general conditions.
It is worth noting that the College of Education for the Humanities has previously organized multiple initiatives aimed at engaging with various segments of society, particularly the elderly and orphans, to foster social cohesion and strengthen bonds of love and harmony within the community.
