The department of English educates its students to face psychological difficultie

As part of the scientific activities organized by the Guidance and Educational Counseling Committee in the Departments of the College of Education for the Humanities, the Department of English held a scientific seminar titled “Helping Students Overcome Psychological Difficulties,” presented by Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Hamid Al-Abadi, with the attendance of a select group of professors and students from the department.

The seminar aimed to guide students on how to utilize the atmosphere of academic study to motivate them to overcome the psychological pressures they may face during their academic journey.

The lecturer reviewed the psychological aspects that explain the difficulties, their main causes, and ways to address them, highlighting modern psychological theories, as well as emphasizing the importance of students’ awareness of the need to adapt to academic life and turn it into an opportunity for self-development and building useful characters for society.
