A Delegation from the College of Education for Humanities Visits Sayyida Ruqayya (Peace Be Upon Her) Orphan School

Stemming from our pressing commitment to social responsibility and the need to invite our community as a whole to support orphans and meet their living needs, a delegation from the Departments of English, Arabic, and Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education for the Humanities, University of Kerbala, visited Sayyida Ruqayya (PBUH) Orphan School, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein. The visit aimed to check on the orphans’ emotional state and well-being.

The visit sought to provide humanitarian aid to orphans, reinforcing the values of social solidarity and compassion during the holy month of Ramadan. It reflected the college’s dedication to instilling a sense of social responsibility among students.

During the visit, Eid clothing was distributed to the students, offering them moral support and bringing smiles to their faces.

It is worth noting that the College of Education for Humanities actively engages in community initiatives, such as visiting orphanages and elderly care homes, organizing donation campaigns, and supporting institutions in line with the goals of sustainable development.
