Jaafar Thamer Fahd, representing the College of Education for the Humanities, a student from the Department of Arabic Language, won first class at the University Festival of Photography, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research at Al-Mustaqbal University in Babylon Governorate. Furthermore, 57 public and private universities participated.
The festival aimed to highlight the role of sustainable development in various aspects of life through photographic works that reflect the challenges and opportunities in this field. A collection of photographs was displayed that highlighted the importance of environmental conservation, enhancing community awareness and achieving a balance between economic growth and the preservation of natural resources. It is worth noting that the festival witnessed a wide turnout from various Iraqi colleges and universities, contributing to student interaction and competition to provide the best, strengthening cooperation between educational institutions, and opening new horizons for creativity and innovation. The College of Education for the Humanities continually strives to support its outstanding students and develop their talents in the fields of education and creativity.
