Under the guidance of the esteemed Dean of the College of Education for the Humanities, Prof. Dr. Hadi Al-Saeedi, and the supervision of the esteemed Head of the Department of English Language, Assist. Prof. DhyiaaKhalil Nael, the department has launched a tree-planting campaign at the same time with National Afforestation Day.
The campaign, which saw participation from faculty members, administrative staff, and students, involved planting a large number of seedlings and evergreen trees in the corridors of the department and around the college building.
It is worth noting that participation in the campaign stems from voluntary self-motivation to contribute to improving the university environment, in addition to the diligent follow-up by the college administration to encourage and urge students to take part.
