As part of the college’s ongoing community engagement and its active and influential social role, a delegation of staff members from the Department of Applied Geography at the College of Education for the Humanities, University of Kerbala, paid a visit to the Elderly Care Home in the holy city of Karbala.
Notably, the visit focused on identifying the most pressing needs of the care home at the scientific, cultural, psychological, and administrative levels. Faculty members engaged in discussions with the caretakers to better understand their daily realities, while also offering both support to the facility’s administration and employees.
This initiative reflects the humanitarian mission of the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Karbala, highlighting its commitment to serving various segments of society and providing ongoing moral and material assistance.
