The Legal Affairs Division at the College of Education for the Humanities, University of Kerbala, organised a workshop titled “Students’ Rights and Responsibilities on Campus”, presented by the Assistant Legal Advisor, Yasser Abdul-Zahra Nasser. A number of students from the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences attended the workshop.
Notably, the workshop aimed to explain and define the rights and obligations of students within the university campus, stressingthe necessity of adhering to the legal and disciplinary regulations set forth by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It further underlined the importance of respecting the academic and administrative staff in educational institutions.
The session included an explanation of specific legal articles related to students’ rights, responsibilities, and disciplinary actions, along with a set of key recommendations.
