On this day, we remember the martyrdom of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr and his sister, the noble Bintal-Huda (may Allah’s mercy be upon them), with profound sorrow and grief, certain of the spirit of challenge and heroism in confronting the harshest dictatorial and oppressive regime in Iraq’s history. And perhaps those great sacrifices always serve as an incentive for construction, work, and the necessary dedication for the possibility of revival and building. And the loyalty that can be offered to the great martyrs and what they have done for Iraq, foremost among them the esteemed martyr Sadr, is in the diligent pursuit of building a proud and capable Iraq.Prof. Dr. Hadi Al-SaeediDean of the College of Education for the Humanities9/4/2025
