The goal of history curriculum is to offer thorough, in-depth analyses of human history while drawing inspiration from civilizational principles.
1- Benefiting from the science of history in developing free thinking skills based on studying and analyzing historical facts and reconstructing them for students in order to reach historical facts on the basis that history is a science that has its own rules and principles.
2- Developing the ability to criticize ideas, opinions, and historical narratives, aiming to build the student’s independent personality capable of analyzing and understanding historical events.
3- It is useful in understanding the distorted reality and trying to anticipate the future.
4- The department emphasizes the importance of providing students with access to human experiences throughout history to understand and appreciate the processes of human societies. It accentuates the role of the Creator in fostering coexistence and harmony in society, promoting values of love and tolerance that characterize the people of the civilized world.
5- The department encourages students to understand themselves objectively and impartially, being open to others, and putting historical events and issues into perspective. This helps in addressing persistent problems that impact political, social, and cultural aspects.
6- Giving the student the ability to realize and understand man’s mission on earth and the purpose of his existence, which is to worship Allah, populate the earth, and realize the messages of heaven to man throughout the ages.
7- Providing the student with the skills and mechanisms of historical research to make them proficient in the science in which he specializes, and the resulting ability to understand and realize the present and attempt to anticipate the future.
