Second Lecture: Unit Two – Present simple
* Read the following sentences:
   – The earth goes round the sun.
   – We go to college every day.
   -Carpenters make wooden furniture.
   – The sport club opens at 3:30 in the afternoon.
   – My brother works in a big factory.
   – Camels have four legs.
  ** Present simple tense is used for things that happen all time or repeatedly, always true, scientific facts, and habitual actions.
 * Particular adverbs are used with this tense such as:
       Usually, often, never, sometimes, seldom, frequently, etc.
 * In case of negation: “do not” and “does not” precede the verb ( base)
    – Smith does not like football.
    – The boys do not like participate in the party.
 * Questions: 
       – In yes/ no questions, again “do” and “does” are used, as in:
     – Do you like sports?
     – Does Alice make shopping at night?
    – In wh-questions, “do” and “does” are used preceded by question words as in the following examples:
       – Where do lions live? 
       – What does the officer hear? 
 * With the third person singular ( subject), “- s”, or “-es” are added, as in:
    – Mary reads her preferable newspaper every morning.
