The activities of the second international scientific conference, which was held on Tuesday 10-5-2022, were concluded in the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Karbala. It included a speech by the President of the Conference, Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, Professor Dr. (Hassan Habib Al-Guraiti), in which he stressed the need to hold scientific conferences for the cross-fertilization of ideas between Iraqi and international universities, he also thanked the researchers for their participation in the success of the international scientific conference and for bearing the trouble of traveling, calling for renewed scientific meetings in the campus of Karbala University.
And in our generous college, then a speech on behalf of the participating delegations was delivered by Prof. Dr. (Mohammed Owaid Al-Sayer) from Anbar University – College of Basic Education in which he thanked the University of Karbala and the College of Education for the Humanities for the good reception and the successful management of the conference. The closing speech of the conference dealt with a review of the number of researches presented and the preparation of the researchers, then the recommendations of the conference included:
1- The opening prospects for joint cooperation with Arab and international universities.
2- The serious work to establish the academic accreditation requirements for Iraqi universities.
3- Emphasis on the practical aspect of teaching subjects at very high rates.
4- Enhancing the level of patriotism and societal harmony through the employment of historical and cultural studies.
5- Raising the efficiency of translation and conversation in English with an emphasis on the use of modern technologies in teaching.
6- As Iraq is in the heart of the most deserted region, immediate action must be taken to increase all kinds of green spaces according to modern methods.
Emphasis on the tourism sector and its role in the national economy, as Iraq has diverse tourism potentials.
Then the Dean and his scientific assistant, Prof. Dr. (Hassan Hamza Jawad), presented the researchers with certificates of participation and attendance in appreciation of their great efforts and active participation in the success of the conference, wishing them continued scientific excellence. At the end of the session, the Chairman of the Scientific Committee, The Dean thanked all those who contributed to the success of the conference, including the various committees, employees, and workers, praying to God Almighty for more fruitful academic events.
