Ahmad Muzaffar Honored at the College of Education for Humanities

Stories of success in the College of Education are always marked by stories of struggle. Their heroes show us that the joy of victory comes only with exceptional efforts. No victor has ever rejoiced in a victory achieved through an easy path. Today, Wednesday, April 24, 2024, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, honored the outstanding student Ahmad Muzaffar, who has suffered from cerebral palsy since childhood. Despite his condition, Ahmad excelled in his studies to become the top student in his class. Ahmad continued his treatment and studies, and his physical pain did not stop him from nourishing his mind with knowledge, proving to us that the cure for the body and soul is knowledge.

The ceremony began with a speech by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, praising the great efforts made by Ahmad to complete his academic journey. He recommended to all his fellow students that Ahmad be their role model and incentive in life. This was followed by a speech by the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Leith Al-Waili, who pointed out Ahmad’s unique qualities and his scientific activities in the Department of Arabic Language. He honored him in appreciation of his distinguished efforts. The student was also honored by Dr. Mohammed Hussein and Dr. Alia Nasr.

The ceremony concluded with the honoring of Ahmad’s fellow students out of love, pride, and admiration for his exceptional efforts.
