One of the staff members at the College of Education for the Humanities /Department of Arabic, Professor Dr. Hazem Alawi Obeid, participated in the committee for the discussion of the master’s thesis titled “Representations of Power in Anthologies of Poetry until the End of the Seventh Hijri Century,” for the student Ammar Adel Faisal, at the College of Education for the Humanities at Wasit University.
The thesis was approved after an extensive scientific discussion by the scientific discussion committee.
It is mentioned that many faculty members in the College of Education for the Humanities at the University of Kerbala are selected as supervisors, heads, or members of scientific committees to discuss master’s and doctoral theses due to their academic competence.
