The Department of Applied Geography at the College of Education for the Humanities at the University of Kerbalaorganized a training course titled “Sustainable Agriculture and Plant Nutrition: Strategies for Comprehensive Planning and Development.” The course was presented by (Assistant Professor Dr. Kazem Mohammed Al-Fatlawi, Deputy Dean of the College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala , Dr. Abbas Abdul Amir Taha, and Dr. Zaid Kamil Jawad), with the attendance of faculty members and students of the college.
The course aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the foundations and principles of sustainable agriculture and plant nutrition, with a focus on planning and development strategies that achieve a balance between improving agricultural production and protecting the environment.
The course included the following topics: an introduction to sustainable agriculture and plant nutrition, developing sustainable food systems to enhance human health, as well as the role of comprehensive development in promoting sustainable food systems.
It is worth mentioning that in this course, participants will gain in-depth knowledge of the latest agricultural technologies, strategic planning for agricultural projects, and sustainable natural resource management, enabling them to effectively contribute to the improvement of the agricultural sector and achieve development.
