Art and Cultural Activities Unit Promotes Student Projects and Supports Their Talents

As part of the ongoing efforts to highlight student-led initiatives and nurture their talents, and under the guidance of the respected Dean of the College of Education for the Humanities, Prof. Hadi Al-Sa’eedi(PhD), the Art and Cultural Activities Unit held a seminar for supporting student talents and small-scale projects inthe college.

The seminar, presented by the Director of the Unit, Lect. Samira Atshan and Asst. Lect. Mohammed Abdul Hassan, hosted students from the Department of English who enjoy literary talents such as writing articles, short stories, novels, and visual arts. The seminarattempted to showcase the students’ artistic works, highlight their talents, and at the same time bring attention to students engaged in small business projects.

Furthermore, the main aim of the seminar was to encourage and support students by introducing their initiatives and exploring marketing opportunities for their products. It also offered practical guidance on how to transform innovative ideas into successful ventures, while addressing potential challenges and available opportunities.

Notably, the College of Education for the Humanities, the University of Kerbala, remains committed to fostering creativity and artistic expression, while also supporting student-led projects through the organisation of various events and activities.
