The Guidance Committee in the Department of Applied Geography at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Kerbala, organized a student volunteer guidance campaign with the participation of a number of students from the department to reduce psychological stress. The campaign was supervised by the Head of the Guidance Committee, Asst. Dr. Nuha Nimah Muhammad, and Guidance Committee Member, Asst. M. Turath Abdul Kadhim.
The campaign included the display of informational posters and the distribution of brochures about adhering to university dress as a cultural, civilized, and societal phenomenon. It also included brochures about exam anxiety and psychological stress, as well as the display of a poster titled “The Tree of Distinguished Students,” which is updated weekly to stimulate motivation and academic competition among students.
It is worth noting that the college has organized numerous awareness and volunteer campaigns to reduce the psychological stress faced by students through numerous seminars, scientific workshops, and educational exhibitions.
