The Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education for the Humanities, University of Kerbala, organised a \ workshop titled (Creative Thinking in the Academic Environment among University Students) targeting undergraduate students.
The workshop, delivered by Lect. Alaa Mohammed Abdul Radi Al-Sharifi(PhD), aimed to introduce the concept of creative thinking, its importance in the academic environment, the factors influencing it, and key strategies for enhancing students’ creative thinking, in addition to the challenges that hinder its development.
The workshop ended with several recommendations, among which are emphasising that creative thinking is a fundamental pillar for achieving academic excellence and personal development by fostering a supportive educational environment and providing academic and social support to enhance students’ creative skills, benefiting their scientific, professional, and future careers.
