Enhancing Legal Skills: A Training Course at the College of Education for the Humanities

The College of Education for the Humanities at the University of Kerbala organised an in-person training course entitled “Enhancing Legal Skills”, delivered by Lect. Jumana Jasim Al-Asadi (PhD), a staff member at the College of Law.

The course targeted staff members and the administrative staff of the college, aiming to strengthen legal awareness among university employees, improve their ability to interpret and apply legal texts, minimise administrative errors stemming from limited legal knowledge, and promote a culture of respect for the law and regulatory institutions.

The course covered three key areas:

1. The General Framework of Public Service – including its concept, governing principles, and relevant legislation.

2. Core and Practical Legal Skills – essential for legal and administrative work.

3. Ethics of Public Service and Legal Accountability – emphasizing responsibility and integrity in public duties.
