Prof. Haider Mohammed Al-Kuraity (PhD) and Asst. Lect.Anfal Khudair Abbas, both from the Department of Applied Geography at the College of Education for the Humanities, University of Kerbala, delivered lectures during an online seminar entitled “Climate Change: Its Effects and Means of Addressing It.” The seminar was organised by the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology and targeted the academic and administrative staff at the University of Kerbala.
The seminar aimed to raise public awareness about the environmental dangers of climate change.
It covered the following topics: an introduction to the concept of climate change, its causes and effects, as well as potential solutions.
