A master’s thesis in the Department of Arabic Language discusses the evaluation of the performance of Arabic language teachers according to the Danielson Model.

A master’s thesis entitled “Evaluation of the Performance of Arabic Language Teachers According to the Danielson Model” was discussed in the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Kerbala. The thesis, by Waldan Hussein Aziz, was supervised by Prof. Alaa Abdullah Abbas.

The study aimed to adopt the Danielson Model to evaluate the performance of Arabic language teachers, which is one of the comprehensive evaluation tools used to assess and improve teaching practices. The researcher divided her evaluation study according to the Danielson Model into the areas of planning and preparation, classroom environment, teaching, and professional responsibilities.

The study demonstrated that all Arabic language teachers in the study sample had a high level of performance according to the approved model. Furthermore, the area of ​​planning and preparation ranked first compared to the other areas.
