To Discuss Their Research Topics: The Seminar Committee of the Department of Arabic Convenes with Graduate Students

Under the guidance of the esteemed Dean of the College of Education for the Humanities, Prof. Dr. Hadi Al-Sa’eedi, and the supervision of the respected Head of the Department of Arabic, Prof. Dr. Jinan Al-Jubouri, the Seminar Committee convened its regular meeting with graduate students specializing in “Methods of Teaching Arabic.” These sessions are held for three hours every Thursday and have now continued for the sixth consecutive week.

The meeting covered several important topics, foremost among them: urging students to expedite the process of finalizing and refining their thesis titles, emphasizing the need for effective and productive research and investigation, and the importance of selecting titles that contribute to solving educational and psychological challenges and curricular issues. The discussion also highlighted the necessity of exploring contemporary strategies in the art of teaching. This week’s seminar hosted Dr. Ahmad Al-Tufaili, the Rapporteur of the Department of Arabic, as a representative of the Department’s leadership.

It is worth noting that the Seminar Committee, composed of the faculty members Prof. Dr. Ali TurkiShakir, Prof. Dr. Uday Obaidan Salman, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hamed Shihab Ahmad, Asst. Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdullah Abbas, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Hamza Hadi, continues to hold weekly meetings. These sessions aim to identify and address the scientific challenges faced by postgraduate researchers, refine suitable research topics, and employ modern strategies in service of the educational and research process.
