The College of Education for the Humanities at the University of Kerbala organized a training course entitled “Strategic Management in Educational Institutions.” Mr. Aqeel Al-Sharifi, Director of Al-Warith Academy for Sustainable Development and Strategic Studies at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (AS), lectured in the course. The course targeted academic leaders, faculty members, and administrators involved in planning and development.
The course aimed to understand the fundamentals of strategic management, analyze the institution’s internal and external environment, formulate a strategic vision, mission, and objectives, and design, implement, and monitor the strategy using performance indicators.
The course included the following topics: an introduction to strategic management concepts, SWOT and PESTEL analysis, formulating the vision, mission, and objectives, developing and implementing strategies, and identifying key performance indicators (KPIs).
