As part of the scientific and research cooperation between public and private universities, and as part of the activities of faculty members from the College of Education for the Humanities at the University of Karbala, two faculty members from the Department of Applied Geography, Dr. Zaid Kamil Jawad and Dr. Abbas Abdul Amir Taha, participated in a developmental course which is entitled “Time Management Skills” at the College of Pharmacy at Al-Ameed University, affiliated with the Al-Abbas’s (pbuh) Holy Shrine.
The course aimed to enhance students’ planning and organizational skills by training them to use effective tools and techniques to organize study schedules and manage daily tasks. This contributes to increasing their academic productivity and reducing stress associated with academic commitments.
The course included interactive modules through which students learned how to balance study, rest, and social activities, set priorities, and make appropriate decisions, in addition to promoting positive study habits such as continuous review and regular self-learning.
