Under the patronage of the respected Dean of the College of Education for the Humanities, Prof. Dr. Hadi Al-Saeedi, and the supervision of the Head of the Department of Arabic Language, Prof. Dr. Jinan Al-Jubouri, the Department of Arabic Language has organized a scientific seminar titled “Between Criticism, Literature, and Translation: My Experience in Writing and Authorship.”
The seminar was presented by Prof. Dr. Abd Al-SattarJabr, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at Al-Imam Al-Kazim College, and was moderated by Lect. Dr. Abbas Ubaid Al-Ameri.
Delivered to researchers and postgraduate students, the seminar has included a presentation of the speaker’s critical and literary achievements. It also has addressed issues related to methodologies for studying literary texts and the challenges facing contemporary Arab culture, all through the lens of his rich experience in research and authorship.
It is worth mentioning that the seminar falls within the on-going efforts of the College of Education for the Humanities to promote scientific research and to document and support the literary production of its instructors and students in writing and authorship.
