Lect. Karar Al-Mufarji (PhD), a staff member at the College of Education for the Humanities, University of Kerbala, secured second place in the Quranic recitation (Tajweed) competition organised by the University’s Women’s Affairs Division.
The competition was held in response to directives from the Women’s Affairs Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, aiming to promote Quranic engagement among academic and administrative staff.
It is important to note that the competition spanned over a month and witnessed wide participation from the university’s staff members and employees. In total, six winners were selected: three male and three female participants.
Notably, at the conclusion of the event, Prof. Sabah Wajid Ali(PhD), President of the University of Kerbala, honoured the winners and the panel of judges for their contributions and excellence.
