The College Council of the College of Education for the Humanities at the University of Kerbala held its thirteenth session for the academic year 2024–2025, chaired by the Dean, Prof. Hadi Al-Sa’eedi (PhD), and attended by the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, the heads of the academic departments, and the Council Secretary.
The meeting commenced with a recitation of Al-Fatiha in memory of Iraq’s martyrs. It then addressed several important topics, including preparations for the final examinations for first-year undergraduate and postgraduate students, with emphasis on proper scheduling, invigilation duties, adherence to regulations, and maintaining a quiet, supportive environment for students during exams.
The Dean also provided directives regarding the enhancement of Iraqi-Iranian academic cooperation and encouraged intensified collaboration. Additionally, the Council discussed postgraduate research topics and stressed the importance of selecting innovative thesis titles that align with contemporary progress and development goals.
Furthermore, the session featured a meeting with the student representative, Mohammed Hanoon, who conveyed students’ concerns and requests. The Council expressed serious consideration of these issues and affirmed its commitment to addressing challenges and finding appropriate solutions.
At the conclusion of the session, Prof. Al-Sa’eedi expressed his appreciation to all Council members for their dedication and teamwork in supporting the college’s academic mission. He further assured the necessity to work cooperatively to enhance the academic process.
