The Department of English at the College of Education for the Humanities held a special ceremony today to honour Professor Khalil Al-Khafaji (PhD) on the occasion of his retirement, in recognition of his distinguished academic career and valuable contributions.
On his part, Asst. Professor Dhiya Khalil Nile, Head of the Department, praised Al-Khafaji’s significant role throughout his years of service and his active participation in numerous scientific, cultural, and social events organised by the department.
Additionally, staff members in attendance also expressed their gratitude and appreciation for Al-Khafaji’s exceptional academic efforts and scholarly contributions, which have greatly enriched the department and its students over the years.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, colleagues and attendees bid farewell to Al-Khafaji (PhD), extending their best wishes for continued health, success, and future achievements in his upcoming endeavours across academic institutions.
