College of Education for Humanities, University of Kerbala holds a workshop on “Lifelong Learning and Its Importance”.
Being presented by Dr. Ahmed Abdul Hussein Naama, the workshop aims at highlighting the concept of lifelong learning and its importance in development , especially in light of rapid changes of the world technologically.
The workshop includes a detailed presentation of the concept of lifelong learning and its main pillars, along with examples from daily life illustrating its application mechanisms and its impact on continuous development of skills and knowledge. It also explains the concept of lifelong learning, supported by real-life examples, showing similarities and differences between the two concepts.
The workshop ends up with a number of suggestions to promote a culture of lifelong learning, emphasizing the importance of adopting flexible educational strategies that contribute so as to build a knowledge-based society capable of keeping pace with developments and achieving leadership.
