Asst Prof. Dr. Dheyaa Khaleel Nayel, Head of the Department of English at the College of Education for the Humanities, University of Kerbala, held an online meeting with the department’s academic staff.
The meeting covered several key points, including the importance of clearly and transparently announcing students’ grades and addressing objections with fairness and objectivity. Emphasis was also placed on ensuring exam questions are comprehensive of the entire syllabus and on preparing three standardized examination models for all students. Additionally, the mechanisms for discussing scientific research were outlined, stressing the importance of objectivity in assessment and equitable grade distribution between the supervisor and the examiners. The meeting also emphasized strengthening academic collaboration with foreign universities and participating in international academic events.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Head of the Department expressed his gratitude to the faculty members and reiterated the importance of adhering to academic regulations and instructions.
