Professor Dr. Murtada Al-Mamouri lectures at a workshop on the mechanism for evaluating research integrityProfessor Dr. Mortada Jalil Al-Mamouri, one of the staff members in the Department of Applied Geography at the College of Education for the Humanities/University of Karbala, participated in the workshop titled “Mechanism for Examining Research Rigor,” targeting members of the scientific promotion committees in colleges and heads of scientific departments as they are the direct parties in this field. The workshop was attended by members of the Scientific Rigor Committee responsible for examining the research submitted by faculty members for promotion, along with several other faculty members.The workshop aimed to understand how to classify scientific journals, examine research, and assess their rigor according to global scientific standards, as well as those approved by the Research and Development Department in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.The workshop included a comprehensive presentation of all the review channels followed to ensure the rigor of the research submitted by researchers or faculty members for academic promotion purposes.
